He received his medical degree from the University of Washington in 1977 and completed a residency and teaching fellowship in family practice at the University of Buffalo. He moved to Colorado in 1981 where he took a position as an emergency room physician in Aspen. He has been working in family practice and occupational medicine in the Denver area since 1985. He opened Peak to Peak Family Medicine in 2002. He is board-certified in family practice and has special interests in: occupational medicine, sports medicine, anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder and pain conditions, including back and spine pain. He is an avid tennis player and skier and has been racing with Rocky Mountain Masters since 1986. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Jean.

Meli Mathis-Clark, FNP-C
Meli Mathis- Clark is originally from Washington, DC. She started her nursing career in Boston, MA at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the neurosurgical ICU. She continued her career in the United States Navy in intensive care settings, trauma, and emergency medicine. She spent 10 years in the Navy. She earned her NP degree from Georgetown University while still active duty. Upon completion of her naval service, she and her husband, a fellow naval officer, moved to Colorado. She worked in several of the local Emergency Departments for UC Health prior to coming to Peak to Peak Family Medicine. She is married to Justin with whom she has two children along with three cats and a dog. Beyond her family, she is active in the Denver Metro Modern Quilt Guild as well as serving as a USRowing Referee.
Dusti
Office Manager
Dusti has been in the medical field for several years and joined Peak to Peak Family Medicine in 2012. After graduating with an Associates of Science degree, she gained her experience within orthopedics, neurology, infectious disease, pain and rehabilitation, occupational health and family medicine. She takes pride in her hard work and experiences over the years in the medical field. Dusti enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, camping and boating.
