DAVID YAMAMOTO, MD
Dr. David Yamamoto grew up on a family farm in the Seattle area. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington in 1977 and completed a residency and teaching fellowship in family practice at the University of Buffalo. He moved to Colorado in 1981 where he took a position as an emergency room physician in Aspen. He has been working in family practice and occupational medicine in the Denver area since 1985. He opened Peak to Peak Family Medicine in 2002. He is board-certified in family practice and has special interests in: occupational medicine, sports medicine, anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder and pain conditions, including back and spine pain. He is an avid tennis player and skier and has been racing with Rocky Mountain Masters since 1986. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Jean.

Jill Nakayama, FNP-C
Jill Nakayama, FNP-C, is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner who proudly grew up in Colorado and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care to her community. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southern Utah University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Graceland University — all while raising her son, who is now preparing to serve in the United States Marine Corps.
Known for her warm demeanor and attentive approach, Jill values building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable, heard, and empowered in their healthcare journey. Outside of medicine, she enjoys painting in both watercolor and oils, refurbishing furniture, and spending quality time with friends and family. Her creativity, resilience, and dedication to others shine through in every aspect of her life and career.
Christine Beckert, FNP-C
Christine Beckert, FNP-C was born and raised in Colorado, and has dedicated her career to serving her community through compassionate medical care. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Regis University, anchoring her clinical practice in a strong academic excellence and compassionate, patient-centered advocacy.
Known for meeting patients and their families where they are at in life, she excels at offering not just advanced clinical expertise, but a grounded, reassuring presence. With over 15 years of nursing experience in acute care, she transitioned to preventative medicine to empower patients to take control of their health journeys, guiding early interventions and help patients achieve long-term wellness goals
In addition to her dedicated clinical practice, she shares her wealth of knowledge and expertise as an Affiliate Faculty member for Regis University, helping to shape and inspire the next generation of nursing professionals. Outside of the clinic, Christine’s world revolves around her family. On any given weekend, you can find her cheering loudly from the sidelines of her children’s sporting events or simply enjoying quality time surrounded by the people she loves most.
